Question: Among the books listed, none cover ASM. How'd you learn x86 asm (did you start with x86?).

It's been a while since I've read a programming book... Influential books I read in the 90s: Abrash's graphics book, K&R C reference, Programming Windows 95 (Petzold) and Advanced Windows Programming (Richter maybe? I forget), and some of the old Graphics Gems sort of books, too. I've also enjoyed the engineers guide to DSP more recently... Comment...
