Question: How does milkdrop 1 differ from AVS? Is it more advanced?

Milkdrop 1 is pretty much a hardware accelerated subset of AVS (though to be fair to Geiss, some of what was in Milkdrop was added to AVS later, etc). Generally AVS is way more capable, but also not hardware accelerated.
