Have you consider to change reaper's release model from feature based to time based releases? just saying...

Our normal cycle (i.e. 3.0 to 3.7x) is time based. Occasionally you need to go do deeper digging that requires a lot more time spent testing, so we like to reserve that for the big numbers. It does take a while, but it seems to be working OK. Time based releases make more sense to me if your software is integrating a lot of packages that are developed at their own pace.
