Question: I forgot to state my initial impetus for contacting you. I see a common thread. What mp3s did for artists (though it could have turned out even better had mp3.com not been shut down) bitcoin stands to do for all people. Decentralize the power. Re: deflation, it's not a bad thing like the article says.

I'm no economist, but my understanding is that deflation is very much a bad thing for most participants of economies. It greatly favors those with excess over those with nothing, and doesn't provide incentive for investment or commerce.

Also: to buy anything with bitcoin requires trusting the merchant completely. If I pay you 1 BTC for something, and I never get it, I really have no recourse, other than to complain. It's like I sent you cash in the mail.

Question: re: bitcoin. Much has happened and learned since 2013. For example regarding the environmental costs they should really be compared to the systems bitcoin disrupts, not just the costs of bitcoin in a vacuum. Re: deflation, computer tech is deflationary yet it still progresses and has a thriving economy. I suggest it's worth a revisit.

I'm not sure that makes any sense, and equating computer tech to currency would be a huge leap at any rate.

Ah! You're saying eggs (as a general thing, as opposed to chicken-eggs) existed LONG before chickens, so true, so true.

Question: Have you considered that you may have been a direct influence on Thomas Pynchon's Bleeding Edge? One of the creators of DeepArcher is named Justin. It's hard to imagine that Pynchon wouldn't have been aware of WASTE? Perhaps the influence is mutual?

A little bit, but at the moment minimalist C++ seems to be the best overall compromise, especially because most projects don't exist in a vacuum.

I see here you've previously somewhat against it though your thoughts may have changed over time. I think you'd be an incredible addition to the bitcoin community. In your question: chicken
    In the dictionary: chicken
    In a French dictionary: egg.

Side note (read aloud): Why do the French eat one egg for breakfast? Because one egg is un oeuf.

Question: Is it possible to somehow sync PlayTrackPreview2Ex() to tempo map at current time in project (noticed MIDI takes previewed with the function don't obey the tempo map). I'm using it like this: bit.ly/1FgC7IN Thanks!
