Would it be interesting to rethink the way DAW�s have traditionally drawn graphics by implementing more GPU processing? I have the feeling that if the graphics and audio �fields� merge a little more lot�s of new user interface capabilities and workflow paradigms would emerge. How would a DAW feel like if it was built around GPU accelerated graphics? (Editing

I don't think it would be that interesting, the graphical rendering portion isn't really the bottleneck, generally, and also sending lots of data to the GPU has more potential to interrupt audio, IMO.
