Question: Will it be possible to write custom video sources in REAPER (the same way we can code custom PCM_sources now)? That would open up lots of possibilities, e.g. for visualization.

    That would be nice! We'd have to keep in mind that they are not necessarily realtime generated, but extensively cached...
