Is there any particular reason for not compiling reaper with native unicode support?

Reply on December 12 2009, 6:33pm:
It started out from wanting to have Win98 compatibility... tho that's getting less relevant as time goes on, without a doubt. Generally speaking I'm quite used to using char * for my strings...

I'd need to make SWELL target GTK or something. I've started on it at times, but in general offscreen drawing is sort of a mess on X11, to my knowledge.

I played around with the Ataris of my older brothers as a kid, but I didn't really start programming until about 1993 or so, using Turbo Pascal and then soon after Turbo C++.

I don't think I hate them (like I do operator overloading), however I do not use them. Generally speaking I think they just make things less explicit, which is annoying.

Question:
How many days do you charge iPhone once? Do you think iPhone the best cellphone?
Asked by Medy (117.136.25.x) on December 5 2009, 3:23am
Reply on December 5 2009, 7:32am:
I pretty much charge it every day -- it usually has around 70-90% battery, depending on how much it was used.
I don't think it is the best cell phone, however it does seem to be the best phone + web browser + IRC client + photo camera + videocamera + ipod + gaming platform that I've found that will fit in my pocket comfortably...
