    Hmm don't think I use many day in day out.. mostly refer to them from time to time... I think I have one called "The Engineer's Guide to DSP" which is pretty handy.

    I'd need to make SWELL target GTK or something. I've started on it at times, but in general offscreen drawing is sort of a mess on X11, to my knowledge.

    Fixing bugs is a pretty standard part of software development, heh. But yeah, corporate environments aren't so great for the creative side.

    VLC is great for playing videos. That's about all I use it for.

    Haven't looked at their codebase, though...

    I played around with the Ataris of my older brothers as a kid, but I didn't really start programming until about 1993 or so, using Turbo Pascal and then soon after Turbo C++.

Question: When I click some mp3 files, a CD cover picture can be shown in the explorer's preview area, where was the picture? in mp3 file?
