My regular coffee is Lavazza Qualità Rossa (pretty kick-ass Italian expresso) - If I wanted to expand my palette, do you have any coffee recommendations ?

Hard to say, depends what you have around you... I've been making french press coffee, using beans from Intelligentsia or Blue Bottle (though there are a number of roasters around whose beans I like), ground using a hand burr grinder... One ends up experimenting with the size of the grind, ratio of coffee to water, time spent steeping... so it's hard to give a blanket recommendation. But the result is quite nice.
