Question: I'm wondering if your opinions on Bitcoin have changed. Seems Bram Cohen is an active contributor to the space, and Bitcoin is of course getting a lot more attention than 2 years ago when I first contacted you. The potential impact of Bitcoin and crypto-currencies in the digital music space (among others) is huge. I'd be interested in your updated take on

    I think bitcoin is interesting-ish but also pretty much fucked up. The blockchain as a method of distributed trust is more interesting.

    Various things, REAPER for linux is one of them. Hours per week -- the last week I took off, so about 5. Normally more than that, but I don't really keep track.

Question: Are there any technical limitations to supporting more than 62/64 hardware MIDI I/O? Not asking as a FR/fix, just genuinely curious.

    We have an int64 mask for enabled bits for devices, that's about the only limitation. The other places should handle it OK.

Question: Can I shallow clone your WDL repo somehow (for SWS dev) ? Apparently shallow cloning doesn't work via http. / re: shallow clone, solved,used your GitHub mirror instead.

    Not any time soon... I have toyed with the idea of making v.999 GPL, maybe sooner rather than later (already over 10 years, eep!)
