Question:
What was your knowledge level, when you first time realized, that you can work as a programmer? (did you know OOP, multiple languages, etc) I'm thinking about changing profession, programmers in my city have 2-3x bigger salaries, than i have on my main job currently, lol

I had aspirations but didn't ever really get a job before making Winamp... I think maybe I sent a resume or two out (seem to remember something to crack dot com)... so I guess I thought I was somewhat qualified, but not enough to really try to interview places.
