Question:
For C++ extensions to draw LICE graphics inside REAPER windows, plain subclassing works well on Windows, Linux, and on macOS when “Optimized drawing” is DISabled. (I.e. when WM_PAINT is received, first InvalidateRect and call original WinProc, then blit LICE bitmap into windowDC.) But on macOS with optimized drawing ENabled, there are glitches – and sometimes the blitted image is not visible at all. Is there a clever trick to getting this to work? (What goes on under the hood with optimized drawing?)
