Question: Can ShowActionList() be used to prompt the user to choose an action and then be informed about the chosen command ID? If not, is there another way to achieve that?

Not currently exposed but I suppose we could add that.

That would be awesome. I think it's quite hard to come up with something as usable as the native action picker.
