Question: Would you anticipate any audio problems if software forced an ASIO driver to use a buffer of 960 samples ? A program i use forces this setting and many people report audio glitches which i thought may be related.. even though 960 is divisable it seems like a non standard interval to me.. could create compatibility problems with some drivers ?

If the driver is designed to accept it, then it would work. If not, then it would fail!

thanks... in your experience are most audio drivers you've seen only made to support the common intervals such as 512, 768, 1024 ? or do you see support for other options ? or is this just not something you see during Reaper dev ? Whenever i look at a control panel for an interface i dont think ive ever seen one that shows 960 so it seems like it could be the source of issues.
