Question: Do you think it is an unfair stereotype that mostprogrammers are socially aloof? Doesn't seem to be the case with you and Schwa.

I think we're all geeks with pocket protectors. Seriously, though, if you're a good programmer you probably have to wrestle with not being in control of everything else -- much of the joy is having a complex system surrendered to your will.
