Question:
hi Justin.. how feasable would it be to train a neural net using lots of video/audio of drummers playing to learn to follow tempo ? then use camera/mic on a live drummer as the input to get music software like reaper to follow the human playing live ? seems like the ai already driving cars is demonstrating abilities beyond what would be needed to follow a human drummer.. not asking as a request just wondering your thoughts.. would it be feasable, good/bad idea etc ?

I don't do much with machine learning stuff but I imagine it'd be easier to just write heuristics or use triggers and learn from the MIDI results...
