    I'm surprised you don't think of it as a duty to the world as a whole. I'm guessing your carbon footprint as rather small, but as someone who can afford to, you should really try to attain a high negative footprint to offset those who cannot afford solar etc.

    To the extent that I can I would, but there's only so much you can do. I could encourage my building to do more... At least I'm a city-dweller without a car, which is a good step.
