Question: If winplay3 had seeking, eq, and playlists, do you think winamp would've caught on?

    I probably wouldn't have developed Winamp in that case. Actually I take that back -- those three features aren't enough. What made Winamp something that you would want to use is that it was built to be used a lot, by people who used it a lot. Winplay3's design was very much "hey look we can play MP3, it works!" :/
