Question:
Sometimes, gfx.getchar returns two character in a queue, like 261 and 128 when I enter the €-symbol on a german keymap. How do I interpret these two values to convert it into €? Or into UTF8 or something?

Bummer. It's actually one of the last corners of Reaper, where things are impossible to handle. :/ I've toyed around with ReaImgui, which can access all keyboard-codes in a way, that you can convert them using utf8.char() into their character representation. Wouldn't it be possible to to learn from how they do it?

I'm guessing it's the modifier key - CtrlAlt and then the € which 128...?

Ohh, that would be awesome! Yeah, it's windows and yes, alt-gr is the same as ctrl+alt combined.
