ah, good to know. REAPER actually has an option on Windows, in prefs/general/advanced, where you can list CPUs to restrict REAPER to. So you can enter 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 if you have a system 8 P-cores and avoid the E-cores.

It is affecting Windows in my experience. The render performance goes down in about 50% (specially after minimize Reaper). The Workaround you indicated worked to improve perfomance. I am on Windows 11 Home (last build) in Intel i7 12000h (I am using Lenovo Legion 5i 2022)
