Question: Shouldn't the neglect of reaplugs come to an end and a linux version finally be created?

meh nah, plug-ins and frameworks etc on linux are a nightmare. swell uses GDK, which would be a mess to use as a plug-in, is my understanding. also reaplugs as a product is a timesink that takes resources away from other projects.
