Question: Hello, I'm having fun with a sample of some very loud/compressed electronic music. When I play it in Reaper, the master level is almost all the time at -0.1, as it should be. But if I pitch the sample down 2 semitones (and do nothing else), then it's clipping at +5.8dB. What's going on exactly?

Does the LUFS or RMS power change substantially? Anyway, timestretch/pitchshift is very much nonlinear so this isn't entirely unexpected.
