Question: Hello, I recently learned that JSFX is derived from the name “Jesusonic.” While I understand and appreciate that the original intention was to honor Jesus' teachings—such as kindness and care for others—I wanted to share a concern as a practicing Christian. The use of Jesus’ name in a technical or commercial context can be uncomfortable or even troubling for some believers, as it may feel irreverent, regardless of intent. With that in mind, I was wondering if you have ever considered changing the name—eit

The name is JSFX, so now you don't have to worry! lol. JSFX is free and open source at this point, so it's not really commercial, and if someone is troubled enough by a name that references a person, well, sorry.
