Question: Any thoughts on the emerging “self hosting” trend? Apps being developed for deployment as docker containers where the UI is a web page? Any thoughts in general or for audio applications specifically?

hmm not really but can't imagine that would work well for audio stuff. in general I am weary of software with lots of external dependencies that end up being updated without the developer's careful curation.
