Question:
which part/file of the JSFX opensource code on your github does the automatic bump to 64 bit. I noticed JSFX plugins, even when all sliders are 0 or have no effect, it automatically makes the incoming audio have like 64 bit mantissa on the bit meter. I wanted to replicate this in a vst3 and wanted to take a look at how you did it. So wih JSFX, even if an incoming audio is 16 bit, the moment you insert a jsfx effect on the incoming audio when no slider is even applying any effect, it becomes 64 bit

, if ext_nodenorm isn't set, adds a very very low level of noise (approx -320dB of nyquist + DC offset) to the signal.
