Question: Do you prefer developing on the Mac or Windows more (API aside). Why TF do Macs cost so much more?

Windows -- there are nice things about having a native bash shell, but msysgit's is getting pretty good, and Xcode is so awful that it drives me to just use vim on OSX (which is fine, I like vim and all, but that's saying more about Xcode than anything else). Whereas VC6 is fine and usable, as is VC2005... Comment...

Question: How did you connect custom hardware knobs & switches to a Windows machine (Jesusonic) and write software that recognized them?

I have no way of knowing, really, but I would tend to think that when you start doesn't matter,(i.e. if I was 50 and had programmed for the same amount of time as I have now, I'd be a similarly competent programmer). Comment...
