Haha re HDB. I liked that X-files episode where there's a sci-fi writer who's interviewing them, and you get to hear things from multiple people's point of view.. Good stuff.

I'm on the code when I can, and run around doing other stuff (like getting coffee) much of the day too..

I think just one last year.. quite a few travel-to-see-family trips, though, but they don't really count as vacation. I'm bad about it, though -- even when we take a vacation I end up working most of it.

Question: Are you a fan of reusable containers, (Nalgene, Insulated coffee cups) if so, brand and types?
Asked by roberttheiii (71.235.42.x) on February 19 2010, 7:44am
Reply on February 20 2010, 8:23pm:
Not really. I used to use the nalgene ones in highschool (they also made great containers for fluid-suspension egg drop devices), but these days with all the talk about BPA or whatever, I dunno. I'm a big fan of my home reverse osmosis filter, though. I like camelback type things (the newer ones especially), too... for bike riding and skiing.

Question: how skin engines work (skincrafter)? are they redesign controls or they just paint them?
Asked by ruchira (202.129.234.x) on February 18 2010, 7:20pm
Reply on February 20 2010, 8:15pm:
Usually I think people usually make entirely new controls (usually not as separate HWNDs). Generally using a HWND for everything is bad -- HWNDs are global user objects, and you can run out of them. That and they aren't properly composited, usually..
