Question:
So occasionally, as an engineer, that doesn't necessarily want to break out his RF signal generator (that would be me), I recall that Winamp V5.6XX and earlier ( still awesome even by today’s standards!) had a simple integrated tone generator function that was very handy. Particular when troubleshooting / tuning audio equipment. I can’t remember the syntax.. I thought it was something like “tone://400” in the open URL dialog - for 400 Hz as an example. Since its your design, I was hoping you know. Thanks!

Question:
Is putting REAPER API in JS effects really so hard to implement that it still didn't happen?
Asked by John (93.138.60.x) on December 23 2019, 9:05pm
Reply on December 24 2019, 1:48am:
Not hard, but the majority of the REAPER API is not designed to be accessed from other threads.

How many programm languages do you know? Do you still lookup functions/libraries when you code or you memorized all the methods and attributes?

Reply on December 21 2019, 11:29pm:
They're all sort of the same, in a way? I do look things up all the time, though, yes.

Question:
Hey Justin, sorry for the technical question but I asked this a while back. I like to run a 32 bit version of Reason through rewire and I'm not seeing it available in Reaper, I know you told me you were going to enable a feature to get it back on. I'm seeing rewire32enable =1 in the reaper-rewire.ini file, is that it? So far it's not doing anything. Thanks for all you do
Asked by David (70.24.238.x) on December 21 2019, 2:41am
Reply on December 21 2019, 3:11am:
Should add rewire_allow32=1 under [REAPER] in reaper.ini and restart REAPER.

Is a 15db bell boost on vocals nuts? I want that sweet airy feel, and the results sounds good to me :> am I going to destroy some poor earbuds user with another insane boost at the same exact frequency? :D

It's all relative, whether it is nuts depends entirely on gain structuring...

Question:
Hi there. How would you go about creating a tiny "filter" in Windows that would add some gain to an incoming signal? Similar concept to ddmf.eu/virtual-audio-stream/but just simple gain.
